True story is an amazing movie that captivates audiences with its thrilling plot and powerful performances. The film follows the life of journalist Michael Finkel, who is struggling to make sense of his career after being fired from a prestigious magazine. After meeting convicted murderer Christian Longo, he begins to investigate his case in hopes of writing a book about it.
The acting in True Story was outstanding; Jonah Hill and James Franco both deliver incredible performances as Michael Finkel and Christian Longo respectively. Their chemistry onscreen was palpable, making for an incredibly intense viewing experience throughout the entire film.
